OUR HUNTING PACKAGES
Our packages are designed to provide you with a seamless and efficient booking process. You can select any one of our existing packages or contact us to create a tailored safari package for you. We will go the extra mile to customise your booking to incorporate any special requirements that you may have to make the trip a memorable experience for you. We encourage family hunting trips so you can bring your family with you. Simply send us information on the number of days you would like to stay with us, a list of the species you want to hunt, and a list of the family members who will be joining you and we will create the family safari that will be etched in your memories for a lifetime.
NB: To be considered a hunting client, a person needs to harvest two or more animals. Any client that harvests one animal is considered a non-hunting guest. If your spouse or child joins in on the hunt, they will be able to shoot one of the animals included in your package at no additional cost. If they choose to continue hunting, they will then be considered a hunting client and their daily rate will increase. Any additional animals that they harvest will be at the trophy fee and these extra charges will be added on at the end of the hunt.

- A deposit of 30% of the day fees will confirm your booking (when applicable).
- Payments must be made in US/Euro currency via credit card (see authorization form) or swift transfer to our bank in SA. We also have an account with VISTA bank in USA.
- Banking fees are for the client’s account.
- Although prices are subject to change without prior notice, all tariffs will be confirmed 7 days before arrival.
- All wounded animals must be paid for in full – this is the law in SA.
- Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
THE MOST ASKED QUESTION BY HUNTERS
- There is no requirement to tip – it is simply a good gesture that expresses appreciation for the effort that was put in to make the trip a success.
- Global Safaris uses an envelope system. At the end of the trip you will receive an envelope with the person’s name and his/her function e.g. driver, skinner etc.
- As a rough guideline: assuming the hunter is happy with the effort of the PH, the average tip can be between 5 and 10% of the value of the hunt. PH prefer being tipped in cash rather than equipment, unless agreed between the hunter and the PH. If the PH is also the outfitter, he should still be tipped.
- Each PH has a driver and a guide helping him with the hunt, 50-100 USD is suggested here as he will do the driving, help with spotting and recovery of the animal hunted.
- Skinners – although your driver is ultimately responsible for your animals, we have other staff that helps to skin and prep the skins and sculls before shipping it off to the taxidermy. The suggested tip here will be 30-50 USD per hunter.
- Average tip for the lodge staff for cleaning, doing your laundry would also be 30-50 USD per hunter. In other words if 4 hunters share the camp, each should give the suggested amount.
- Then there are the people that feed you and make sure your trip will be a memory of a lifetime. Here 100 USD is recommended per hunter.
- In total, the outfit personnel are your PH, driver, 3 skinners, 2 cleaners and 2 lodge staff.
